Absolutely love, love, love, this place! Beautiful location where every cabin sits right on the river to give you that escape from all the hustle and bustle of the city.
Also get all provisions as needed for the duration of your stay BEFORE arriving! because the closest supermarket is about 45 minutes away! And if you want to drink a beer on a lounge chair watching the beautiful river like I enjoy doing...I would definitely suggest purchasing that before you arrive because it is a dry county and they DO NOT have any alcohol in any of the local gas stations.
So if your looking for a place to disconnect from the city life...then look no further! and keep in mind, your cell phone will "NOT WORK" up in the mountains! so make all arrangements a good half hour out! prior to visiting! Learned that the hard way from our first time of visiting!
Shane is great! Beautiful location, views, and cabins. Great fishing in the Linville River. Lots to do.
This is our second time here. Very cozy and private. Love the hot tub and location on the river! This has turned out to be our annual anniversary spot!
This cabin was nice and cozy. Had an awesome weekend going to the falls and the blowing rock (the local town) The owner of the cabin was very nice and helpful. My only complaint was that the shower head was kinda gross could use a good cleaning and the toilet paper was 1 ply at best!! Other than that it was a wonderful stay.
We love it,, it's a nice get away.. the owner is a great guy too.. this is our 3rd time going since March and we're thinking of buying a cabin
